About Acetaia Paltrinieri
The history of the Acetaia Paltrinieri is rooted at the beginning of 1800, when the villa that still hosts it was built. The first barrels and batches of the Balsamic Vinegar, forerunners of a long family tradition and the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, also date back to that period.
Acetaia Paltrinieri was established in 1845 when, in the gorgeous country house with the typical architecture of the region, the Paltrinieri family started producing the first batches of vinegar. This tradition has been handed down to the present day with the production of the vinegar must, from the Trebbiano and Lambrusco vineyards surrounding the villa, in line with the tradition and the production regulations.
Today it is Guido Paltrinieri who still performs the traditional practice of decanting and replenishing in the over 1,000 barrels of production. An experience handed down generation after generation that brought the Acetaia Paltrinieri products to be appreciated all over the world for the quality and compliance to the production regulations.
